"RUTH COCKS"
12X12X1.5 INCHES | 1/4" MODERN BIRCH FRAME

Ruth Cocks, 51, was last seen leaving the bar at the Union Hotel in Athabasca, Alta., at approximately 2:30 a.m. on March 28, 2008. The mother of three's body was discovered on the frozen Athabasca River on April 7, 2008, and her death was determined to be suicide by a medical examiner. Her sister, Berna Barore, says that doesn’t make any sense to her and she had a hard time getting information from police. Cocks was also found at least three kilometres from home, Barore says. She said she felt racism and a lack of respect hampered the police investigation.
