Brenda Jeanette Campbell, 51, was from Winnipeg but had roots in Duck Bay and Camperville, Man. She had several children and was known as very kind, with a strong spirit. On July 7, 2016, Campbell was killed in a house fire. Her death is being investigated by the homicide unit of the Winnipeg Police Service. No charges have been laid and Campbell’s case remains open.
